About Us
Both of us became Christians as teenagers in Romania, our home country. However, we come from very different backgrounds: I, Ben, am the sixth generation in a family of devoted Evangelical Christians while Anda’s father was a convinced Communist before he became a Christian himself.
When the Lord brought us together we were both studying Theology, preparing to enter full time ministry upon graduation from college. This took place in Bucharest, Romania, the place where we also got married towards the end of our undergraduate studies. Around the same time the Lord called us to minister to African and Asian refugees in Bucharest, and for about two years, I was a full time assistant pastor in a newly planted church.
As the Lord would have it, the more time we spent in the ministry, the more we realized we needed more training, and this is how we got to Dallas Theological Seminary. Here, I am studying to get a Master’s degree (ThM) in Academic Ministries/Christian Education and Anda is getting her Master’s degree (MA) in Biblical Counseling.
We are eager to return to Romania and serve our people by wisely using everything we have learned during our time in the States. Lord willing, I will be a pastor and Seminary professor, while Anda dreams of opening her private counseling practice and also training a new generation of Christian counselors.
Our passion is to see Evangelicals in Romania thriving in their relationship with the Lord and with each other, and making an impact in their community so that the Kingdom would grow and Christ be glorified in all. It’s all about Him!
